The Florida Human Trafficking Victims Fund is proud to celebrate Paul Azinger, who was honored with the 25th Payne Stewart Award, one of the PGA’s most meaningful recognitions.

The Payne Stewart Award is presented annually to a professional golfer who exemplifies character, sportsmanship, and charity — values that Paul has embodied throughout his career and life. This year’s ceremony was especially poignant, as Paul and Payne Stewart were not only competitors but also best friends. The close bond between the Azinger and Stewart families has endured, making this award deeply personal for all who gathered to celebrate.

The ceremony, often described as “the best night in golf,” brought together golf greats past and present. Surrounded by family, friends, and legends of the game, Paul’s recognition was a moving reminder that greatness is measured not only in championships, but in how one uses influence to serve others.

Through the Paul and Toni Azinger Foundation, Paul and Toni have dedicated themselves to charitable work that extends far beyond golf. Their compassion for vulnerable children is reflected in their support for One More Child, and their leadership as co-founders of the Florida Human Trafficking Victims Fund has been instrumental in strengthening efforts to stop trafficking across Florida. Their partnership with the Florida Sheriffs Association provides vital resources to combat human trafficking and support survivors throughout our state.
